Welcome to the home page for our business. Gulkana River Raft Rentals is designed to allow adventure seekers to take a float down the beautiful salmon filled Gulkana River, as well as the scenic Delta River. Unlike other services in the area, Gulkana River Rafts does not hold your hand on the way down: you are given a rented raft, and with that you will go to one of many main put in points (see Planning Your Trip) and the entirety of the trip down the river is up to you. More about our business can be found by navigating the tabs to the left.


Maps indicating our location on the Richardson Highway can be found under the Driving Directions tabs, and maps of the Gulkana River and Delta River can be found under the Maps of the Rivers tab.
Just imagine: you've just slid your raft or canoe in to the beautiful pristine waters the Copper Basin. Eagles are soaring overhead, scouring the river for their next meal while the rivers below them teem with arctic grayling, rainbow trout, sockeye and king salmon. You are about to enter a magnificent world teeming with beauty and wildlife.

Chances are good that during your trip you will see moose along the river, or the over thirty thousand caribou of the Nelchina Herd could cross en masse right in front of your raft! This is the interior of Alaska, and your trip of a lifetime is about to begin!
